SPIRITUAL THINGS DON’T MAKE YOU SPIRITUAL

When you’re starting your spiritual path, your first thought to get started may be to go on a book shopping spree for all the spiritual new age books.

You will find books on crystal healing. You will find books on spells. You will find books on plant medicine. You will also find books on law of attraction and manifestation. But you will never find a book that tells you how to be spiritual.

Why?

Well just because you meditate, work with crystals, and read tarot cards, doesn’t mean that you’re more spiritual than someone who doesn’t do those things. Being spiritual isn’t about trying to develop psychic abilities, and learn everything in the spiritual world.

No.

Being spiritual is about remembering the magick that’s within you already, because you yourself are magick.

It’s just, what is your magick?

How do you channel your magick?

Where does your magick reveal itself?

What comes naturally to you that always amazes other people?

Like for example, someone could be a carpenter. There’s nothing spiritual about carpentry. But because the carpenter is following their soul’s calling of building beautiful houses, some would walk into a house they built and be in absolute fascination of how they could turn a dirty dumpster piece of land into a gorgeous sacred space that someone can call home.

How could they build something so stunning? Some would say the only explanation for it is magick.

While the rest of the world sees carpentry as a very basic, standard, 3rd dimensional activity on the outside, in the carpenter’s eyes, it’s a spiritual experience! It’s a 5th Dimensional activity that serves a much higher purpose that the physical can’t comprehend. That’s what I call being spiritual.

The internet says that if you want to start being spiritual, you have to meditate for hours on end, develop your intuition and psychic abilities, and start a crystal collection. I think if you’re goal is to ‘look’ spiritual, then yes do those things.

But if what you’re really striving for is to tap more into your spirituality and the things that ‘click’ with your soul, then I would start with reflecting on a simple question.

What is normal for others, but spiritual to you?

What is an activity that feels 5th dimensional to you, while 3rd dimensional to everyone else?
