IT’S BETTER TO HAVE AN UNCERTAIN FUTURE
No matter what your life situation is, no matter how badly you wish to know if your future is going to get better… don’t seek certainty of your future. Keep your future a surprise.
You can’t compare your present self with your unknown future self.
If you knew how everything in your future was going to play out, you wouldn’t even put in the effort to try to move it forward because you’d likely see all of the challenges you went through in order to get there. Not to mention it may not turn out to be the result you expected. But if your future is kept uncertain, you’re forced to experiment and try new things and learn new lessons because you don’t know what will work out and what won’t. You’d be working for the surprise instead of working for the spoiler.
For example, if you felt unsatisfied with your current path or situation right now, and you’ve been doubting about your future… What if you were told by your Spirit Guides that you won’t be on the path you’re on for much longer, and your life is going to take a hard u-turn toward a whole new path you never would of imagined? You wouldn’t even believe it! You would be in denial!
Your mind would instantly go to “how could that possibly be?! I’ve done all these things to build up to this thing, but instead it’s going to be THAT?!”
But maybe that is the highest and greatest path for you, because maybe in that time, you will have an experience where you heal certain wounds and you discover a new profound realization in this other thing. And then when that happens, all of the things you did in your past will fuse together and become this beautiful path that you never would have imagined!
In this case, being uncertain would have been totally worth it!
But there’s another side to this. The part that can be concerning about knowing our future is that what if you learned that your highest destined path will become one that completely enlightens you! And once you find out, you are just so excited for this future that you go about doing everything you can to make this path happen, and 10 years later it doesn’t happen as you were told. You would sit there in total disappointment that it didn’t happen.
But why would it turn out that way?
Well potentially because maybe if you never knew, you would continue staying on your path so you could learn certain skills and experience certain lessons in order for that dream to happen. But since you got so ahead of yourself, you put yourself off-track out of the need to be certain 24/7 instead of giving yourself permission to be uncertain yet still be guided. So in this case also, being uncertain may have been the better choice than to be certain.
Because you don’t know how the future will play out, you now have no choice but to keep treading along the path as it organically reveals itself. And maybe, that’s how it should be. Maybe it’s better for us to not know and keep our future uncertain.
